Sheesham (rosewood) is traditionally considered auspicious and is our most recommended material for puja units — it is durable, naturally fragrant, and holds intricate carving beautifully. Teak is an equally excellent premium alternative.
Can you design a puja unit that fits into a wardrobe or wall alcove?
Yes — built-in mandir alcoves integrated within the wardrobe unit or a dedicated wall niche are among our most popular designs. The puja space is concealed behind doors when not in use and opens up for prayers.
Can you add jali or carved work to the puja unit?
Yes — traditional jali screens, carved arches, lotus motifs and other traditional decorative elements can be incorporated either by hand carving or CNC routing, depending on the level of intricacy desired.
