This is a working policy for the website, not a substitute for advice from an Indian advocate. We will update GSTIN, legal entity name and grievance-officer details when you confirm them in WP Admin.
1. Who we are
Elegant Decors sells interior products (wallpaper, flooring, panels and related goods) and offers interior design / installation services in India. The website is an invitation to treat. A contract is formed when we accept an order or written quotation in writing (email, invoice or WhatsApp from our official numbers).
2. Eligibility
You must be 18 or older to create an account or place an order. We do not knowingly sell to children. Account data must be accurate.
3. Products, colours and measurements
Product photos, 3D views and on-screen colours are illustrative. Batch, lighting and screen settings change appearance. Measure walls yourself or book a paid site measure. Quantity calculators on the site are estimates only. Extra rolls or offcuts are the buyer’s responsibility unless we measured on site under a written service contract.
4. Prices and taxes
Prices are in INR. GST and shipping are added at checkout or on the quotation. A price on IndiaMART or an old catalogue is not a live website price. We may correct obvious pricing errors before dispatch and refund any amount already paid.
5. Orders and payment
Pay through Razorpay or other gateways shown at checkout. We do not store full card numbers. Design / made-to-order items may need an advance. Work starts after the agreed advance clears.
6. Delivery and installation
Delivery times are estimates. Risk in goods passes on delivery to the address you gave. Installation, if purchased, needs a dry, vacant, accessible site and power. Delays caused by site unreadiness are not our breach.
7. Returns and refunds
See our Refund Policy and Shipping and Returns page. Opened wallpaper rolls, cut flooring and custom-printed designs are generally non-returnable except where the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 requires a remedy for defect or misleading description.
8. Design services
Consultation availability and any fee are as stated when you book. We do not guarantee a specific aesthetic result, property value increase, or “100% satisfaction”. Revisions, if offered, are limited to the scope in the quotation.
9. Accounts
Keep your password secret. You are responsible for orders placed from your account. We may suspend accounts used for abuse or fraud.
10. Intellectual property
Website text, logos and original photos belong to Elegant Decors or their licensors. Do not copy catalogues or product images for resale. Customer-uploaded room photos remain yours; you license us to use them only to fulfil the enquiry.
11. Acceptable use
Do not scrape, attack, or post unlawful content on the site.
12. Liability
To the extent permitted by Indian law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss. Nothing excludes liability for fraud, personal injury, or rights that cannot be waived under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.
13. Governing law
Laws of India. Courts at Faridabad, Haryana, have jurisdiction, without limiting your statutory consumer forum rights.
