Description
Luxury Vinyl Tile (LVT) Flooring — Waterproof Wood-Look Planks
Luxury Vinyl Tile flooring gives you the warmth and grain of real hardwood with none of its vulnerabilities. LVT planks are completely waterproof, resist scratches from furniture and pet claws, and stay comfortable underfoot in both summer heat and winter cold — making them one of the most practical flooring choices for Indian homes and commercial spaces.
Unlike laminate, which swells if water seeps into its core, LVT is waterproof throughout. You can install it confidently in kitchens, bathrooms, balconies, and ground-floor rooms where moisture is a real concern.

LVT vs Laminate vs Hardwood — Which Should You Choose?
This is the most common question we get, so here’s a straight comparison:
- LVT (this product) — fully waterproof, softer and quieter underfoot, best for kitchens, bathrooms, balconies, and homes with children or pets. Slightly less “solid” feeling than laminate.
- Laminate — harder surface, more realistic wood texture at the same price point, but the core swells permanently if water sits on it. Best for bedrooms and living rooms.
- Engineered hardwood — genuine wood top layer, can be refinished once or twice, highest resale appeal. Significantly higher investment and needs more care.
For most Indian homes, we recommend LVT in wet zones and high-traffic areas, with laminate or engineered wood in bedrooms — this gives the best balance of practicality and finish.

Frequently Asked Questions
Is LVT really 100% waterproof?
Yes — the plank itself is waterproof through its full thickness. Water sitting on the surface will not damage it. In wet areas, we also seal the perimeter and joints for complete protection.
Can LVT be installed over existing tiles?
Often yes, provided the existing tiles are firmly bonded, level, and the grout lines aren’t too deep. This saves the cost and mess of demolition. Our team assesses this during the site visit.
How long does LVT flooring last?
With normal residential use, expect 15 to 20 years. Commercial-grade LVT with a thicker wear layer lasts well under heavy footfall in retail and office spaces.
Does it feel like real wood?
Modern LVT has embossed-in-register texture, meaning the surface grain aligns with the printed grain — visually it’s very convincing. Underfoot it feels slightly softer and warmer than real wood, which most people find more comfortable.
